The Collective Wedding | Jamiena & Mark

It was such a pleasure to capture the wedding of Jamiena and Mark who have such a tender connection. These two were friends for years but had lost touch and finally found each other again. They had an intimate small wedding at The Collective, a unique space filled with a colourful eclectic mix of design and decor. It was a wonderful mirroring of the wedding itself, which included traditions from both of their backgrounds. It was a beautiful experience to see how they wove all of these pieces together to create something that was uniquely them. The joy from their loved ones throughout the event was so abundant and heartwarming. After the ceremony, we stepped outside for portraits and some one-on-one time. The building is covered in multiple murals so we were lucky to have an amazing selection of creative backdrops to work with. When we came back inside we were treated to a live harpist serenading guests. The evening was lovely, full of great speeches and spectacular dances. The night ended with a festive exit as guests tossed flower petals into the air as the bride and groom departed. Here’s a little peek at Jamiena and Mark’s beautiful day.
