Toronto Backyard Wedding | Catherine & Corey

Hello! It’s been a while! I’m ready to get back to it and start sharing some of the beautiful weddings I had the privilege of photographing in 2022 (before the next wedding season officially begins). First up is Catherine and Corey’s amazing Toronto backyard wedding, accented with some summer rain. This day was relaxed and elegant with an epic dance party to end the evening.

Catherine and Corey gathered their closest family and friends in a relative’s backyard, under a beautiful clear tent to celebrate their marriage. It POURED just as the ceremony was about to start, but I honestly felt that the rain added to the romance and beauty of the day. Maybe it’s just me, but I love the sound and the smell of the rain. Either way, we all stayed relatively dry and everything was perfect. After a great dinner, some super heartfelt speeches, and a surprise slideshow, the party started and everyone danced the night away.  It was truly a special day and I loved being a part of it.
