The Drake Hotel Wedding | Karen & Jose
I LOVE shooting at the Drake Hotel in downtown Toronto. It’s one of my favourite neighbourhoods and venues in the city, surrounded by awesome little alleys and shops to wander through. The rooms are great, the food is delicious and the staff at the hotel are wonderful. I was super excited when Karen got in touch just a few weeks before the wedding to see if I’d be available to photograph their day. Karen and Jose were living out of town and they didn’t really start planning until closer to the day, and I kind of love that about them. They are so sweet and playful together and being the one to document their wedding meant everything to me.
This wedding was full of heart. Family members came in from Mexico to help celebrate these two and there was this beautiful energy surrounding them all day.
