Sandbanks Wedding // Emilie + Kris
From my first meeting with Emily and Kris, I knew that these two were incredibly special people. I could feel their connection right away, and was looking forward to their wedding from the moment they asked me to document it.
Their beautiful, intimate ceremony took place in the backyard of a heritage house in Sandbanks Provincial Park, together with 35 of their closest friends and family. I’m pretty sure there were thunderstorms and power outages and the outdoor dinner had to be moved inside, but no one seemed to notice any of those things.
Emilie and Kris took the time to thank each individual guest during their speech. They explained why that person was special to them and what it meant to have them there. There was not a dry eye in the house (including mine).
“No matter who we are, what we believe in this moment, we know this one thing: love is what we’re doing right” – Emilie & Kris
